What is the Rentstart SleepOut?

The SleepOut is many things. It’s a fundraiser. It’s an immersive experience. It’s community coming together. It’s a celebration. It’s a sobering reminder.

One night spent sleeping in cardboard boxes. In the winter. On concrete.

This is more than a one-off token gesture. In the middle of your sleepout you will begin to think - think INSIDE the box. You will be taking part to change lives, and it may well be that your life is also changed…

75 people sleeping out, over 100 people joining us throughout the evening, a DJ and a choir of 40!

What more can you ask for!

Well… A good nights sleep?

Unfortunately this was not on offer.

We are immensely proud of the commitment our community has shown us. Well over three times the amount of people who joined us last year came down to show that they stand against homelessness in our community.

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came to show support, to Esher Rugby Club for hosting the event, to Luxfords of Weybridge for supplying the boxes, to Elmbridge choir for putting on a fantastic show, to Vernon the DJ, and our ambassadors and clients who provided impactful speeches throughout the night.
